Welcome to PlayerDeck.gg. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, services, and applications provided by Kaan Kocabas, operating as PlayerDeck.gg (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using PlayerDeck.gg, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the service.

1. Scope & Provider Information

  2. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered free account holders, and paid subscription customers (“Pro Users”).

2. Description of Service

PlayerDeck.gg is an online platform that enables gaming creators, streamers, and players to:

  • Build and customize an interactive profile grid (“Creator Page”) displaying links, gear setup, games, clips, and media.
  • Generate and share visual identity assets (“Player Cards”).
  • Create, manage, and export dynamic media kits and rate cards for commercial sponsorships (“Media Kit”).
  • Access cookieless server-side performance analytics.

We reserve the right to improve, modify, or update features from time to time to maintain platform quality and security.

3. Accounts & Registration

  1. To use the platform features, you must register by providing a valid email address or by signing in with Twitch, and by choosing a unique username (playerdeck.gg/<username>).
  2. You must be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
  3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  4. You may not choose a username that infringes upon third-party trademarks, is misleading, or violates applicable law. We reserve the right to reclaim or modify usernames in cases of trademark disputes or squatting.

4. User Content & Acceptable Use

  1. You retain full ownership of all text, images, logos, and links you upload to your profile (“User Content”).
  2. By uploading content, you grant PlayerDeck.gg a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and render your content solely for the purpose of operating the service.
  3. You warrant that your User Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or statutory regulations.
  4. Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:
    • Upload illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit material.
    • Promote unauthorized gambling, deceptive schemes, or malware.
    • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or bypass platform security or rate limits.
    • Misrepresent audience numbers or forge verification metrics in your Media Kit.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.

5. Affiliate Links & Brand Partnerships

  1. PlayerDeck.gg allows you to include affiliate links and commercial sponsor disclosures (e.g., in the Setup or Partners tiles).
  2. You are solely responsible for complying with local advertising laws, FTC/EU disclosure requirements, and the terms of any affiliate network you participate in (e.g., clearly labelling sponsored content or affiliate links).

6. Subscriptions, Payments & Billing (PlayerDeck Pro)

  1. Free Tier: The core functionality of PlayerDeck.gg is provided free of charge.
  2. Pro Subscriptions: Optional premium features (“PlayerDeck Pro”) are billed on a recurring subscription basis (monthly or annually).
  3. Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely via our third-party payment partner, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for the agreed subscription fee.
  4. Renewal & Cancellation: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the end of the current billing cycle. You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, your Pro features remain accessible until the end of the paid period.

7. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsbelehrung für Verbraucher)

If you are a consumer residing within the European Union, you generally have a statutory right of withdrawal:

Right of Withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

Effects of Withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw.

Premature Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content: Pursuant to § 356(5) BGB, your right of withdrawal will expire prematurely if we have begun performance of the contract after you have:

  1. Expressly consented to us beginning performance of the contract before the expiration of the withdrawal period, and
  2. Acknowledged that by providing your consent, you lose your right to withdraw from the contract once performance has started.

8. Limitation of Liability

  1. PlayerDeck.gg is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
  2. We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and culpable injury to life, body, or health.
  3. In cases of slight negligence of essential contractual obligations, our liability is limited to typical, foreseeable contractual damages.
  4. We are not liable for lost profits, lost sponsorship deals, or data loss caused by third-party outages (such as Twitch API downtime or network disruptions) outside our reasonable control.

9. Termination

  1. You may delete your account and terminate your contract at any time by emailing info@playerdeck.gg.
  2. We reserve the right to terminate free accounts or suspend services for good cause (e.g., significant breaches of these Terms or misuse of the platform).

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  1. These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
  2. The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute settlement proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
